River cruise from Hemiksem up to Lillo-Doel and Antwerp

This river cruise with embarkation at Hemiksem at 10.15 a.m. takes you to the Western Scheldt.
Shortly after the departure the boat arrives near Antwerp, the city on the Scheldt. From the boat, you have a superb view on the metropolis: its historic buildings and the modern architecture on the quays of the river Scheldt.
More downstream we find the little village Doel behind the green banks of the river Scheldt.
You can see the impressive cooling towers of the nuclear power station and you'll discover the feverish activity of the container terminal.

On the way back, you can pay a very short visit to the centre of Antwerp.
Then the boat returns to Hemiksem where we arrive at about 05.30 p.m.
