River cruise from Kapelle-op-den-Bos to the Valley of the river Scheldt.

This is a very varied river cruise on the Sea Canal and the Scheldt. We embark at Kapelle-op-den-Bos at 9.30 a.m.
The boat passes through the sea lock of Wintam and then navigates up to Rupelmonde for a short visit.
Rupelmonde is the native town of the famous 'Mercator', you can visit the tidal mill dating from the 16th century, the "Tower of the Earls" dating from the 12th century or you can follow a walk along the wonderful sundials.
We continue the river cruise upstream in order to visit Mariekerke or, tides allowing, St-Amands.

From Mariekerke or St-Amands we turn back to Kapelle-op-den-Bos, estimated arrival at 05.30 p.m.
