During this boat trip a guide will tell you the interesting story of the 'Leuvense Vaart' (Leuven Canal). Still today this 250-year-old canal is called that way in popular speech. The guide will discuss the rise and fall of the industry, tell the story of hop and beer, talk about the rural boat trips of old to Tildonk and recreation on and around the canal today. The round trip will take 2 hours.
