Day trip from Temse to Mechelen.

Combination of boat and bus.

The boat leaves Temse at 9:30am and it will sail to Mechelen. During this day trip you will enjoy the extremely varied waterways and river landscapes. The boat will first navigate the Leuven-Dijle canal and than be locked in Battel. Through the Zennegat lock the boat will reach the river Dijle and the river Rupel. The latter takes us to the river Scheldt.
A guided visit to Klein-Willebroek and the artistic city of Mechelen is included in this day trip.

The boat trip ends at approximately 4:30pm in Mechelen. You will return to Temse by bus.
On certain days this boat trip is organized the other way round. In that case the bus leaves Temse and the boat will leave Mechelen to Temse one hour later.
Attention: when there are only few participants for this boat trip, transport there and back might be by train instead of bus.
