River cruise from Willebroek to the Valley of the river Scheldt, with visit to Rupelmonde and Mariekerke or St-Amands.

This is a very varied river cruise on the Sea Canal and the Scheldt, with embarkation at Willebroek at 10.00 a.m.
The boat passes through the sea lock of Wintam and navigates up to Rupelmonde for a short visit.
Rupelmonde is the native town of the famous geographer 'Mercator', you can visit the tidal mill dating from the 16th century, the "Tower of the Earls" dating from the 12th century or you can follow a walk along the wonderful sundials.
We continue the river cruise upstream in order to visit Mariekerke or, tides allowing, St-Amands.

From Mariekerke or St-Amands we turn back to Willebroek, estimated arrival at 05.00 p.m.
