During this instructive day you will be submerged by
the history of World War II. The Fortress of Breendonk,
the only concentration camp that existed in Belgium,
receives annually more than 100,000 visitors from all
over the world. No one remains indifferent to this silent
witness of one of the most striking periods in history.
After visiting the Fortress you’ll make a boat trip on one
of the most peaceful parts of the Scheldt.
Start of the visit of the Fortress of Breendonk. Under the guidance of an experienced guide you explore the buildings and the environment where many people were harmed and numerous men lost their lives.

13:30:Departure of the boat trip on the Scheldt. You make a cruise along the picturesque villages of Sint-Amands and Mariekerke, the lade of the Durme, Hamme-Driegoten and Weert... and you sail towards Rupelmonde and Hemiksem and the beautifully restored St. Bernard’s Abbey. The polders around Hingene hide a piece of authentic heritage with the castle of Ursel and the famous pavilion De Notelaer.

Our ships can welcome 20 to 350 guests for a celebration, teambuilding, excursion, seminar...
Within the framework of the Corona measures, we limit the capacity of the ship to less than half, in order to respect 'social distancing'. On board we also provide hand sanitizer and information posters with clear safety instructions. Each ship has its own atmosphere, setting and arrangement and is equipped with bar, audio and multimedia devices. Sailing can be done from different embarkation points, with or without catering.
