We bring you by bus from Ronquières to Strépy-Thieu.
This guided boat tour starts at the foot of the renowned Strépy-Thieu ship elevator. After an ascent of 73m with this 'lift', we navigate on the new 'canal du Centre', which was built as a kind of aqueduct high above the Hainaut landscape. We sail as far as Houdeng-Goegnies, where we make a short guided walk to the hydraulic lift no. 1 on the historical 'canal du Centre' near La Louvière (Unesco world heritage site).
After boarding we continue our boat trip through the Seneffe area, where the Charleroi-Brussels Canal meets the new 'canal. du Centre'. Finally we reach the Inclined Plane of Ronquières, that we track down in a large water basin and thus bridge a height difference of 68m.
We disembark at te foot of the Inclined Plane.

Within the framework of the Corona measures, we limit the capacity of the ship to less than half, in order to respect 'social distancing'. On board we also provide hand sanitizer and information posters with clear safety instructions. Each ship has its own atmosphere, setting and arrangement and is equipped with bar, audio and multimedia devices. Sailing can be done from different embarkation points, with or without catering.
