Guided boat trip from the Scheldt area to Vilvoorde and Brussels
You will arrive at Temse by train or private bus (groups).
During the first part of the boat trip, we sail on the wide Scheldt past the Scheldt municipalities of Hingene, Steendorp and Rupelmonde, with the falling tide we discover the typical Scheldt nature with salt marshes and mud flats. We sail past controlled flood plains, which have now become new nature reserves.
At the Wintam lock, we sail up the Zeekanaal. The freshening up in this large sea lock is a special experience. We sail on past Willebroek and Kapelle-op-den-Bos and enjoy the Brabant Green Belt.
We experience the ashing in the Zemst lock and finally sail via Grimbergen-Humbeek to Vilvoorde (and Brussels).
Info return journey by train: seniors 65+ travel at a fixed price of €7,80 p.p. on all lines - groups from 15 pers. travel at a 60% discount or € 4,00 p.p. (purchase a group ticket at least 7 days in advance). Travel time Vilvoorde > Temse: +/- 55 min. and Brussels-North > Temse: +/- 1h10min.

Shared meals that require special equipment (cool box, large packaging, plate and cutlery) are not allowed on board.
Bringing your own sandwich is allowed. Beverage must be purchased on board.
Our ships
The Rivertours ships can welcome 30 to 300 guests for an event, a party, an excursion,... Each ship has its own atmosphere, setting and décor and is equipped with a bar, as well as audio and multimedia equipment. We set out from various embarkation points, with or without catering.
