Varied boat trip from the northern to the southern Green Belt, via Halle to Ronquières!

From Vilvoorde, we sail straight through the Brussels region. We discover the Brussels port installations, which penetrate deep into the city, but we also see new housing, greenery along the waterway and the rural Zenne Valley. After passage of several ship locks, including the big lock at Ittre, we reach the inclined plane of Ronquières.

At the end of this boat trip, you get a nice view of this impressive nautical construction that the inclined plane is. We disembark at the lower end of Ronquières.

For the return from Ronquières, we provide bus transport to Halle (if there are enough participants). You can also return by TEC bus 63 (with stop near the boat arrival point). Bus 63 runs to Braine-le-Compte station where there are connections to Halle, Ottignies, Brussels-South/central... More railway information: https://www.belgiantrain.be/en/tickets-and-railcar...

However, you can also opt for just a morning boat trip to Halle or an afternoon boat tour from Halle to Ronquières.

Return with your own bike is also possible.
