Peaceful boat trip on the canal between Leuven and Mechelen. The Leuven-Dijle canal is a rural waterway along which economic activity has largely disappeared. There are several relatively small locks on the shipping route, which makes the waterway less suitable for large-scale and fast freight transport. This channel is all the more interesting for recreational use. Cyclists and walkers like to use the elongated towpaths, fishermen can practice their 'sport' in peace and the sailing is calm and pleasant.
A guided walk in the historic center of Leuven can be organized for groups prior to the boat trip. Afterwards, you will embark at the Leuvense Vaartkom for the boat trip to Mechelen. You can also start this boat trip in Kampenhout.
Our ships can welcome 25 to 350 guests for a celebration, teambuilding, excursion, seminar...
Each ship has its own atmosphere, setting and arrangement and is equipped with bar, audio and multimedia devices. Sailing can be done from different embarkation points, with or without catering.
