You can embark on the way in Grimbergen/Humbeek and Kapelle-op-den-Bos, but the final destination is Klein-Willebroek, where you can visit the historic center.
In the afternoon you can cycle back from Klein-Willebroek along a safe and uninterrupted towpath along the Rupel and Dijle to the Zennegat and finally the Zenne to Vilvoorde.
