Boat trip from Mechelen and Kampenhout to Leuven, with guided visit of the city center or free stay You return by your own means
The narrow and economically less crowded Leuven-Dijle canal is ideal for recreational fishing, sports and boating. During our 4-hour canal cruise from Mechelen to Leuven you can enjoy varied nature and passages through the locks of Boortmeerbeek, Kampenhout and Tildonk. You can also board in Kampenhout.
The boat trip ends in the 'Leuvense Vaartkom' from where you can participate in a guided city tour (on request for group bookings) or visit the city on your own initiative.
The return to Mechelen takes place on your own initiative, by train, regular bus or by bicycle.

Shared meals that require special equipment (cool box, large packaging, plate and cutlery) are not allowed on board.
Bringing your own sandwich is allowed. Beverage must be purchased on board.
Our ships
The Rivertours ships can welcome 30 to 300 guests for an event, a party, an excursion,... Each ship has its own atmosphere, setting and décor and is equipped with a bar, as well as audio and multimedia equipment. We set out from various embarkation points, with or without catering.
