We make a guided walk through one of the most beautiful and spectacular sites in Brussels. An immense customs depot and Art Deco station that was transformed into a new living, working and recreation site using the most modern, sustainable techniques and materials. A guided walk at Tour & Taxis provides beautiful photographic images, brings knowledge and food for thought.
12:30:Short walk to the boarding point of the ship Vivaldi at Becokaai in Brussels. Ebarkation.
Welcome by the captain and his crew and start of the boat trip.
We sail through a Brussels canal area that has undergone an impressive change in recent years and where work is still going on. Developers build new housing projects, a pedestrian bridge and a public park near the water. Also more to the north, in Vilvoorde 'Watersite', the canal and the joys of 'living by the water' have been discovered. In Grimbergen and Zemst it is mainly rural and nature has the upper hand.
A guide provides commentary while sailing, but you also have time for lunch. While sailing, the cold and hot meal in buffet style is provided by one of our caterers. Appropriate drinks can be ordered from the bar staff. Various drink formulas are possible, which we have discussed with you in advance.
