We offer the possibility to take the deceased to his final resting place on board of a ship. The urn with ashes is hereby launched in the Scheldt.
Relatives and guests come on board in Temse, where we leave for a quiet boat trip towards Hamme Driegoten. The ship will stop at a predetermined place on the Scheldt where the ceremony, led by the master of ceremonies, will take place.
With due tribute, the urn with the ashes is launched and we take a moment of silence. The biodegradable urn, surrounded by real flowers or petals, will find the river Scheldt as final resting place.
Close to this final resting place we find a reverie place with a resting bench on the shore, here the relatives can always look back on the place of farewell.
After the ceremony, we continue on the meandering stream, towards Sint-Amands, where a heart-warming aperitif and matching mourning meal will be served.
The mourners find the time to catch up, surrounded by the serenity of the beautiful nature. At Sint-Amands the ship turns and we start the return trip to Temse.
