Late afternoon boat trip from Klein-Willebroek to Grimbergen and Vilvoorde. Bike and boat combination.

Bike and boat combination !

Cycle from Vilvoorde to Klein-Willebroek via a beautiful and safe towpath along the Zenne to the Zennegat, along the river Dijle and Rupel (some 27 km).

Klein-Willebroek located between Rupel and Sea canal has managed to preserve its charming historical village centre and pretty inner harbour. It's a pearl of historical heritage, with its old ship lock, still in operation.

Late afternoon you can take part in the guided boat trip from Klein-Willebroek through the rural Green Belt back to Vilvoorde. During this trip you will also axperience the passage through the big ship lock of Zemst.

Disembarkation is possible in Kapelle-op-den-Bos and Grimbergen, but the final destination is Vilvoorde.

Boating & cycling

Do you love our waterways and nature, a relaxing bike ride and a fresh breeze aboard a ship? Then a boat trip through the Green Belt, the Zenne Valley or the National Park Scheldt Valley is definitely something for you. Out by boat and back by bike or vice versa: most boat trips can be perfectly combined with a relaxing bike ride. You can explore the region along one of the many signposted cycling routes.
