Cruise from Halle to the foot of the Inclined Plane of Ronquières
The boat trip departs from Suikerkaai - Halle.
We sail along the Brussels-Charleroi Canal through the green Senne valley. Our route takes us through the towns of Lembeek, Tubize, Braine-le-Château and Ittre, passing through the ship lock of Lembeek and the large Ittre lock.
At the end of our cruise, we’ll have a splendid view of the impressive hydraulic construction that is the inclined plane of Ronquières. We’ll disembark at the bottom.
The return journey from Ronquières to Hal is by your own coach (for groups) or by public transport (TEC bus and train). More information on rail connections: Train card price and validity areas: Local Multi | SNCB-NMBS
Alternatively, you can cycle back! Cyclists can use the towpaths along the Brussels-Charleroi Canal.
