Visit Brewery Boon

Guided visit of brewery Boon, where traditional brewing methods and new technologies work together to create the finest Lambic Beers and Oude Geuze. Discover the brand new brewery hall and become initiated into the mysteries of the brewer and learn more about the first traces of this brewery dating back to 1680... The visit ends with a little appetizer.

Guided boat trip (A or B): possible on Thursdays before or after the visit of Boon

A. Boat trip from Brussels to Halle (Lembeek), straight through the Brussels region (10:00 -> 14:00)

Departure Brussels-Sainctelette. During this boat the ship will pass several ship locks. While sailing through Brussels you will discover a canal environment in full change with warehouses converted into lofts and many former industrial properties completely transformed into hotels, museums and new working units, new bicycle and pedestrian bridges. You will spot traditional houseboats in the Anderlecht docks. Arrival at Lembeek (Halle). Meal is possible on board.

B. Boat trip through the green valley of the Senne to Ronquières (14:00 -> 17:00)

Departure in Lembeek. Our route crosses the municipalities of Tubize, Braine-le-Château and Ittre. Away from the main roads, sailing through the rolling hills, you can enjoy the tranquility, nature and authentic landscapes of the valley of the Senne. During this boat trip we also pass through the shiplock of Lembeek and the large ship lock of Ittre. At the end of this boat trip, you get a nice view from the ship of this impressive nautical construction that the Inclined Plain of Ronquières is after all.

We disembark at the lower side of Ronquières.
